Stop and Think Before You Have a Tree Removed
If a tree is sick or dying there are usually alternatives to having them removed and in many cases it is less expensive to nurse a tree back to health. For overgrown tree, pruning may be a good solution and it will come in at a fraction of the cost of removal. It’s important to remember that tree removal is not simply chopping the tree down. Not only must the tree be cut down but the wood must be cut up and the area where the tree once stood must undergo sometimes costly repairs. This can include topsoil, grass and quite importantly new foliage to fill the gaping hole left in your yard and restore privacy.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Always remember to ensure that a tree removal company has a certified arborist on staff. Otherwise, for all you know you’ve just hired a lunatic with a chainsaw!
